Registering a mobile device in Intune
As part of our continuing efforts on improving security, we are updating the security protocols to require all devices that connect to any company information (for example: Teams, Emails, Files on SharePoint/OneDrive) to be registered and enrolled into the Company Portal.
This allows the company to better control its data on devices that are not always in the office.

Apple:

What this will mean: No company information will be able to be accessed unless you have installed and configured the company portal on your device.
What do I need to do: Follow the steps below to install and configure the company portal app on your device. (Mobile and Tablets Only)
Information the company can see: Device model and make, Operating system and version and the device serial number.
What information the company CANNOT see: Calling or web history, emails or text messages, contacts / calendars, passwords, pictures, or any files on the device.
Step 1. Download or search “Intune Company Portal” from the App or Play store.

Step 2. Open the Comp Portal App and authorise notifications, by clicking ok and allow.
Step 3. Login using your work email address and password
Step 4. Begin enrolment Process
Step 5. Review the privacy details and click continue
Step 6. Continue through the registration process
Step 7. Click ‘Allow’ to download the profile.
Step 8. Open settings app and click on “Profile Downloaded”
Step 9. Click Install in the top right hand corner
Step 10. Click the second “install” button that appears at the bottom
Step 11. Click the third “install” button that appears at the top right hand of the screen.
Step 12. Click the “trust” button that appears in the middle of the screen.
Step 13. Click the “done” button that appears at the top right hand of the screen.
Step 14. Open the “Comp Portal” App from your home screen.
Step 15. Open the “Comp Portal” App from your home screen and click continue.
Step 16. Click continue again
Step 17. A popup may appear, if it does, click “Manage”
Step 18. Click done, you are ready to go!
